All class times above are available to you (5 days/week~28 classes/month !). Double up and dial in !! All members can ask to be screened using the FMS (Functional Movement Screen) tool to detect asymmetrical movement patterns. The FMS is a powerful biomechanics tool for immediate feedback. The feedback offers insight into a persons movement strengths and weaknesses. All levels of experience are welcome, from beginner to advanced. Kettlebells are provided for all classes. You provide the sweat. Tuition is non-refundable.
Introducing "Yang-Style T'ai-Chi Ch'uan" At NEKB !!
This training and cost is separate from the kettlebell training. New students can join this class any time to learn the Yang-Style T'ai-Chi Chuan Long Form. The basic class includes warm-ups, meditation, Qigong, and individualized instruction for beginners. In addition, continuing students can study T'ai-Chi Sword, Pushing-Hands, and the Two-Person San-Shou form with instructor Julie Cisler.
Instructor Julie Cisler has studied T'ai-Chi Ch'uan with Sifus Ray Hayward and Paul Abdella since 1997. She is a Seventh-Generation yang-Style inner-door student, with a deep study in T'ai-Chi principles. She has experience with many T'ai-Chi weapons ( sword, saber, spear, fan, cane ) and two-person practice. Julie has also studied Baguazhang, TaeKwonDo, Aikido, Shaolin, Northern and Southern Praying Mantis Kungfu.
